Corporate Accountant
Location: On-site in Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA)
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $90,000-$115,000 base salary + bonus

About the Role
A leading real estate firm is seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee Corporate Accounts Payable and support broader corporate accounting functions. This is an on-site role based in DTLA, offering long-term stability, strong leadership exposure, and the opportunity to contribute to a high-performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage corporate accounts payable, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment cycles
  • Support accounts receivable and general accounting functions
  • Handle expense reports, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close assistance
  • Maintain exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in all financial processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate clearly with internal teams and external partners
  • Proactively identify process improvements and manage time-sensitive tasks with a strong sense of urgency

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Stable work tenure
  • Strong systems acumen and comfort navigating multiple platforms
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Experience in the real estate industry
